About Enhanced Motion

Whole-Body Injury Therapy & Movement Support in Ballaghaderreen & Castlerea, Co. Roscommon

Enhanced Motion was created to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with greater ease in their bodies. Operating across two locations in Ballaghaderreen and Castlerea, we combine expert neuromuscular therapy, injury rehabilitation, and supportive movement classes to address pain at its root — not just where it shows up.

Our work is grounded in one simple belief: the body is a connected system. Pain, injury, and discomfort rarely exist in isolation. They are influenced by movement patterns, posture, breathing, stress, lifestyle, and previous injuries. Understanding the full picture allows us to support real, long-lasting change.

OUR STORY

Enhanced Motion began as a neuromuscular therapy clinic in Ballaghaderreen, founded by Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cummins. From the beginning, Lizzie was driven by a desire to understand the why behind pain — not just to treat symptoms, but to uncover the patterns influencing movement, wellbeing, and recovery.

As her clinical experience grew, Lizzie expanded her training to include Pilates, Qigong, Integrated Energy Therapy, sound healing, lymphatic work, dry needling, cupping, trigger point therapy, and functional rehabilitation. Over time, a clear philosophy emerged: pain is often a pattern, not a single event.

As demand increased, Enhanced Motion expanded into a larger premises on Sligo Road, Ballaghaderreen, including a dedicated rehabilitation gym designed to support recovery, retraining, and movement confidence. What began as a clinic evolved into a space where therapy, movement, and education work together — supporting people not just to recover, but to move forward with confidence.

OUR PHILOSOPHY — WHOLE-BODY, ROOT-CAUSE CARE

At Enhanced Motion, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. When you come to us, we take the time to listen to your story.

We look at:

  • How you move and load your body

  • Posture and movement habits

  • Previous injuries and recurring pain

  • Lifestyle demands and work patterns

  • Sleep quality, stress levels, and nervous system load

Often, the area that hurts is not the true source of the problem — it’s simply the area under the most strain. By understanding how the body functions as a whole, we can identify what’s really driving pain or limitation and create a plan that supports sustainable change.

Our goal isn’t just relief — it’s confidence, clarity, and the ability to move through life with less fear and more ease.

Meet the Team

  • Elizabeth Cummins — Owner

Neuromuscular Therapist | Pilates Instructor | Personal Trainer | IET Practitioner | Qi Gong Instructor | Sound Healer Practitioner

I’m Elizabeth Cummins (Lizzie), owner of Enhanced Motion Injury & Wellness Clinic in Ballaghaderreen and The Workshop Castlerea. I’m deeply passionate about movement, the mind–body connection, and helping people feel stronger and live well.

As a busy mum of three, I understand the challenges of balance in everyday life. My approach is to meet people exactly where they are — physically, mentally, and energetically — while creating a welcoming, supportive space for growth, health, and a bit of craic along the way.

Alongside a talented team of instructors, I’m committed to supporting people in moving better, building strength, and enjoying life with more energy and ease.

  • Conor Quinn

Neuromuscular Therapist and Functional Strength Coach

Hi I’m Conor — a Neuromuscular Therapist and Functional Strength Coach who helps people move better, feel stronger, and get out of the cycle of “quick fixes.”

My approach is simple: we calm the pain down with hands-on therapy, then we build the body back up with smart, progressive strength training — so the problem doesn’t keep returning.

I’ve spent up to 17 years working with all types of bodies and injuries, from everyday aches and long-standing niggles to high-performance sport. I’ve supported Corofin (All-Ireland Senior Club Champions) and worked as Rehabilitation Coach with the Galway Senior Football Team (2022–2023). I’ve also spent five years running fitness sessions with Tuam Cancer Care, which taught me how to meet people where they’re at — with real care, patience, and clear guidance.

If you’re recovering from injury, dealing with recurring pain, or just feel “stuck” in your body, I’ll help you understand what’s going on and give you a plan that actually makes sense — so you can move with confidence again.

I hold a Diploma in Teaching Mindfulness, Meditation, and Positive Psychology and I’m a 300-hour qualified, registered yoga teacher. My classes focus on slowing down, listening to the body, and supporting calm, balance, and wellbeing through mindful movement.

I’m passionate about sharing tools that empower people to care for their own health and happiness — on and off the mat.
